Well, for a family or personal use, yes, it is.
But for me, and countless other viewers, this is why we need to break the “if it isn’t broken, we don’t fix it” mentality, and actually adopt technology as it is.
If you have any suggestions for better methods to capture video, post the tips in the comments below.
The new iPad mini, coming this summer, will ditch Wi-Fi for 802.11ac, according to an early leak, as the latest iPad mini is expected to launch later this year.
We’ve heard from multiple sources that Apple will be bundling 802.11ac-equipped iPads with a new iPhone 5c to compete with the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the upcoming Nexus 5X (via The Next Web). The new device also boasts a 5.5-inch display.
An anonymous industry source claims that 802.11ac will become the standard wireless standard for the iPad mini, which it defines at “Wireless Ethernet 802.11ad”.
If 802.11ad does eventually become the standard, Apple could sell an iPad Mini with the new Wi-Fi chip to compete directly with the Galaxy S5 and other high-end smartphones. Of course, Apple is already selling 802.11ac WiFi-only devices, such as the Apple iPhone 4S and the Samsung Galaxy S3.
Earlier this month, our own Jack Dongarra reported that this Wi-Fi chipset could be used for 802.11ac Wi-Fi access points at the AT&T iPhone 6s and its competitors.
A team of international geophysicists has discovered a tiny world, the fourth in a series of 10 “super-Earths” orbiting their star in what scientists believe could ultimately be crucial links in an “intelligent” cosmic dance.
The discovery of this “super-Earth” is crucial because it is also one of the “first and only” bodies discovered to orbit in “close proximity” and a crucial test of how these massive planets are formed.
The three other super-Earths detected so far can be described as “couples” (two planets orbiting each other), with some orbiting closer and some more distant, scientists have found.
In addition to four planets around two star systems, the team also detected three smaller worlds, which scientists believe could be habitable.
In a paper published in the journal Nature, their research explains how the new
